archery video
71This hub is about some cool vids I’ve found of archery video I’d thought you might enjoy. Of course there are tons of them on the net – we can truly find anything if we look hard enough – but I like these for their simplicity and how easy it is to imitate the process – though I do admit the results are impressive!
I made a hub a few days back about the thrill, the joys, of taking your bow and arrow, aiming right in the middle of an archery target, and whammo, hitting that baby dead center.
In these times of confusion, I feel target shooting is the oversimplified, stress releasing, mind pleasing, goal setting process taken to its maximum. Take that to bank personal development gurus :)
The first video is a bit slow paced but worth the look. It’s about a few very accurate shots – including the most legendary one in archery : the “Robin Hood” shot. I won’t say more to spoil your fun. It’s all in this archery video.
Impressive wouldn’t you say? That archer dude, Byron Ferguson, has shot over 40 000 arrows in his lifetime! I better start counting, then again, I love that there’s me, my bow and arrow, that target, mind is totally focused. I also dig the fact I use some of the very same targets he uses.
As he says in the video, this shot is as accurate as you can get in archery. Check out his "putting out a candle" video as well. This guy is amazing,
As for the other videos, paste the link as they are on Myspace and Stimoo sites, and HubPage don't allow embedding of these. To make it easy for you, you just have to paste this one link and a list will appear on the right to see the next ones - though I mostly like this first one.

Neat he? While deep down I simply NEED a high quality archery target to aim at, these guys filmed themselves to produce a unique form of low-fi archery video. There’s no shortages of ways to have fun this summer playing with arrows and shooting stuff :) I’m a weird way, I’m far from being a shy guy, but when I shoot at an archery target, I simply want all my focus to be on that and nothing else. 100% concentration. Blank everything out. It’s basically the only place I attain this mystical focus.
As for you, well, it may different, so… why not film yourself and do your own archery video? See you on YouTube!
