The sunny outdoor season is in again!

Ha the joy of aiming right in the middle of my brand new archery targets! The sunny spring and summer days are upon us once again - at last. I'm sure I'm not the only one eager to get back to outdoor sports I love.

I think what draws me to sports, like it does for many of my firends and probably for you as well, is the beautiful simplicity that is an intricate part of it all. Clear rules, clear goals. In archery it takes this concept to the max: the target is clear, you know exactly what you aim for, and you shoot to get it every time!

In the movie Any Given Sunday, I just love Al Pacino as the coach when he explains his love of the game: it's pure. Out there there's chaos, confusion, the path is muddy, the truth lies somewhere in the middle of an hazy circle. Now, it's me, my bow, the arrow, and my eyes fixed on that target. Archery makes everything simple again.

Archery Targets: Shoot!

Aim in the middle time and time again

Life still has a way to get in the way... I want to aim in the middle time and time again for the next 5 months and be at my very best. I don't want to go about always fixing my broken bow or worn out archery targets.

Last year, I found out how simply switching to a 100% heat bonded material called "ethafoam" for my targets made my life simpler. They are 3 times as resistant as the traditional straw ones. They're waterproof too and, insects won't be making their nasty homes in them either. That used to really "bug" me :)

Anyhow, have fun this summer. I hope you're jacked like I am. Can you gear in hand, aim for the middle, and use those archery targets to make your life simpler and fun again!

Nice and focused. I like this hub.

One of the things I like is the foam targets with a memory foam like background. They leave very clean holes when shot but yet the target holds up great over the long run
